Our present funding is loan from Grammen Trust, Bangladesh to be repaied soon. Therefore, we are exploring alternative funding revenues for our expansion, financial viability and sustainability. While a donation or grant can be immensely helpful, we are not simply looking for free cheques, hand-outs or write offs. We can very well absorb a soft loan as we have an excellent weekly repayment record of 100%.
We have successfully overcome the initial speculative stage, and established credibility in the socio-economic circle. More and more women have come forward to avail our micro-credit services, but could not be served due to lack of funds.
To achieve our overall socio-economic development agenda for the poor, SRI is embarking upon other services, such as literacy, access of drinking water, hygiene and sanitation, health services etc. We are contemplating to organize unique women's milk co-operative societies of their own, and stop the exploitation of the middle-men. With funding, we are committed to open new horizons for the real empowerment of the poorest rural women from the grass root level.
